I’m still finding it hard to just “bounce back” after the events this week. I’ve always joked with my friends that I like to live in a mental bubble where life is roses and sunshine. It’s helped me my entire life keep a positive attitude and smile on my face. Well that bubble popped leaving feelings of sadness and despair… So I thought what can I do?! How can I make difference in my community?! I realized that subconsciously I started making a difference 17 years ago when I picked up my first camera. The melting pot of people I have photographed throughout the years have shown me that love + happiness comes in all hues of melanin, religion, gender, disability, and economic status. Positive imagery is a huge force in our world!
