How I got that shot: I’m a big lover of using as much ambient light available to achieve a realistic “feel” for the location I’m shooting at. Many times I do need a little boost of light to fill in the shadows. I’m shooting on a @canonusa 5DM4 with a 50mm 1.2 lens and a 600ex on camera with @magnetmod pointed up to bounce and diffuse a soft light around the couple. Keeping it clean and simple ? Feel free to ask any questions. ? #amyanaizphoto #teamcanon #amyanaizbts #magmod #holdfastgear #inspire

Great post , cool to know what tools your using !
Love the shot! Really cool that you explained how you got it!
@glory_n_laurels π the best shots are usually so simple to achieve. ??
Amy literally in love with every photo from this day! You are such an incredible talent!
Each time I see this photo I fall in love with it all over again. Great job!!
Thanks for sharing. Have you ever used Gary Fong diffuser? If so, how would you compare the two? Thanks!
@abcrichardson your welcome ?
@favoredbyyodit #winning adore you too doll!! Looking forward to many more!! ??
@purplexity_
@bagladies I used it years ago (like over 10) so I know he’s come out with a new model since. What I love about the @magnetmod system is how easily to can add and stack various modifiers together without worrying they will fall off. Seriously one of a kind ?
Get it Amy!!
@dcarterphotography ??
@amyanaizphoto thanks so much for offering your feedback. I have a Gary Fong now and been considering @magnetmod so your feedback helps. Gorgeous shot also!
@bagladies your welcome. You won’t be disappointed π
Dope shot Amy!!! Waiting on these photography tutorials like ???
@natural_rho_ anytime sweets!!!
@vanessacliftonphoto miss you too!! Hope you’ve been well! ??
??
Beautiful image. What was your flash power? Manual? ttl? If manual, what flash power?
Whatβs a good prime lens for group shots? 50mm is dope for isolated individual shallow debt of field pics but I find it difficult to get group shots in especially from close range. 35mm, 30mm, 24mm??
@favoredbyyodit I agree!!! All of the images from this wedding are amazing
@rheawhitney thanks for your help on this one doll ??
@leosage_images I always shoot my flash on manual. It was around 1/32 π
@socialbroker group shots always vary by the amount of ppl and the amount of depth you have to step back. If I have enough room I’ll shoot with the 50 so I can slight compression but usually my go-to is the 35mm. If your doing larger groups 24 is sometimes needed. I try not to go wider then that because I personally don’t like the fisheye look ? hope that helps. ??
@mrs_arringtonbaldwin
@johnlouis_nyc I like how she shoots and how her watermark is barely noticeable
@shapaowow yup! I never want me logo to be distracting but also want to try to protect my image as well ?
??
Your amazing Amy!
So dope
@photosbyrome thanks Rome ??
@chizzy_beautyworld ??????
@quitaalicious thanks little ladiessss!
@amyanaizphoto thanks
Where do you start with learning the tricks of lighting.
@sidjwhite honestly I learned most via trial and error. The more you shoot and learn to SEE light the easier it gets and becomes second nature ?
@amyanaizphoto I?t was such an honor!! Anytime you need me again, Iβm down! ?
What were your flash settings for this shot? I used to shoot Tttl but I’m now trying to get used to manual flash settings.
@amyanaizphoto Magmod is everythang!!
Oh nevermind, I see your answer a few comments up.
@melshonell ???
Go Amy!
