Hey Friends!! ????There are so many reasons why I’m obsessed with my book club, @litladiesnyc , as a group of women who come from all different walks of life one common thread that we all share is how fearless we are with challenge ourselves, our way of thinking and the world around us! Over the past four years during our book club meetings we have never shied away from tackling conversations about race, belonging, and equality. As the world shifts to having a global conversation about systemic racism and anti-Black violence, we think it is important, now more than ever, to keep these conversations going. On July 21, we are inviting ALL of our friends and family to meet up on Zoom to discuss this month’s book: “We Were Eight Years in Power,” by Ta-Nehisi Coates.
