I have to say that family sessions are probably my favorite, especially when they include little ones like this cute little guy.

Names Dominic and his proud parents are Damion and Sandy 🙂On a sunday afternoon I arrived at the Chins lovely home that was so obviously filled with love.  Such a great family photo! Love this one! He’s looking right at me! Say “Hello Pretty Lady” or at least I think he is.. 😉Dominic’s room was a hand painted Safari themed.. *love*love*love*And his Uncle got him custom made onezies.. PIMP! 🙂I love when I have GOOD light. Makes all the difference.. Daddy and me…This is probablly one of my faves! Love everything about it.Oh and this one too! 🙂How pimp is he!?!?!And after  2 hours little ol’ Dominic was all tuckered out 😉

This cute little guy is Carlos. 🙂

I met the Chardon Family in their beautiful Miami Beach home and a sunny Sunday morning. They were bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Carlos was not shy at all and was a a pro at making eye contact with me. We became quick friends 🙂

His room was filled with the cutest details.One of my faves!Mom thought he was sleepy, but I think the pout face is because he thought I wouldn’t take more pictures of him.. 😉

My dad is not your conventional dad. He’s not into sports,tools,yard work,cars,big screen tv’s…

But he is:

The most intelligent, compassionate, hardworking, humble, God-fearing, say it like it is kinda man.

He is my Hero.

I know everyone says that about their dad but I really mean it about mine. I know that if I want the hard honest truth about something I can ask him, I know that if I am pursuing a dream he is my number one supporter. I know if I fail at something he is the first one to tell me to brush myself off and try again. My dad doesn’t complain, never boasts, always listens, gives whole heartedly, loves unconditionally, and is eternally loyal. My dad has taught me life’s greatest lessons by just being who he is. My dad is a human encyclopedia when it comes to nutrition and medicine (DoctorGenao.com ). My dad has always believed in me and has been my #1 supporter. My dad has always let me know that I am his “little girl”. My dad makes me laugh. My dad is a true embodiment to the phrase “they don’t make them like they used to.”

So on this Hallmark Holiday Dad I just wanted to tell you I love you, I appreciate you, and I am a better person because of you!

Today is a very special day… It’s my Mom’s birthday!! My mom reads my blog regularly and say’s its her way to know “what I’m doing”.. lol..Like we don’t already talk daily…ohhh Mom 🙂 Mommy Guess what!!! This blog post is all about YOU!!!

My mom and I have come a long way. Growing up I was a daddy’s girl so Mom and I didn’t see eye to eye very often. It wasn’t until I got older that I realized that it’s because we were so similar. You know what they say about having two “Alpha” females under one roof. HaHa. Well now that I am an adult and look back I see all the sacrifices that my mom made for myself and my siblings. No words are enough to say THANK YOU, but I will try.

Mommy thank you:

For sacrificing your career (she’s a doctor) to raise us. Being there every morning to see us off to school. Picking us up every afternoon. Giving us a home cooked meal everyday. Not letting me wear makeup until I was 16. Giving me a 12 am curfew until I was 21. Raising me on plantains. Rocking me to sleep till I was too big to sit on your lap. Making wear my hair in pig tails till I was in middle school. Understanding my stubbornness. Giving me “Muni” when I was 2. Knowing how to calm me down when I am stressed. Always praying for me. Never sugar coating things and telling me the hard and honest truth. Always supporting my decisions. Wiping away all of my tears.  Always speaking to me in Spanish and correcting me when I pronounced something wrong. Throwing me the BEST birthdays I can remember. Surprising me at my show when I became a Delta. Teaching me to learn to depend on myself and not on others. Making me clean the dishes 1000 times a day. Teaching me how to cook. Reminding me of the importance of family. Giving me a brother + sister. Putting the fear of God in me. Taking care of me after my surgery. Giving me your gorgeous looks. Holding my hand every-time I had to get a shot or give blood because you know needles petrify me. Making me count my blessings. I can go on and on but I think Boyz II Men sang it best:
