[ NYC Portrait Sessions ] DeMarco Morgan

From the moment I met DeMarco I knew we had a connection. We simply just “got” each other. I treated him to Starbucks one afternoon and he explained his vision to me and what his expectations were for his upcoming session. I quietly listened and told him ” I got you”. DeMarco gave me free reign in choosing the location that would fit his style. We spent over 2 hours shooting downtown and there was never a dull moment. DeMarco has such an incredible spirit and is filled with a tremendous amount of knowledge and insight. I was so inspired by him that I just wanted to keep shooting and he kindly had to tell me.. “We can get more shots next time”..he.he

Thank you DeMarco for truly trusting me and for being so open minded to ALL my suggestions.

Can’t wait till we shoot again!!

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Ebonie. She is the voice behind the blog Friends of Ebonie, a unique civic platform where relationships are fostered between non-profit organizations and community-oriented individuals and businesses. Friends of Ebonie is committed to motivating early-to-mid level career professionals to become civic and philanthropically adept, we engage and educate this peer group through weekly blogging, e-newsletters, social media and fundraising campaigns.

Ebonie is one of those people who is definitely going places! She has such genuine spirit and is always a delight to be around. While she is a budding philanthropist, she is also  passionate about using her personal journey to inspire fellow 20-somethings. There is never a dull moment when shes around! 🙂 I am excited to catch her on VH1’s new dating show “Why am I Single” with Siggy Flicker  Oct 30th!
