[ Miami, Fl Quinces Session] LilIsabel Padro

LilIsabel wanted to celebrate her “15’s” in a fun and modern way. She opted for cute little white dress and Coral Gables as our backdrop. The weather and light could not have been more perfect! I was blown away by Lils charisma and sweetness. She never stopped smiling and was open to all my suggestions.  Seriously this little lady here is amazing and I am in LOVE with this session!!

[ NYC Surprise Engagement Session] Svenja + Heiko

This is not the first time Svenja + Heiko have graced my blog.

Over the past 4 years we have had quite a few shoots, celebrated birthdays, and formed a great friendship. As we prepared for our annual holiday shoot I got a special email from Heiko letting me know he was going to propose to Svenja on that day. I couldn’t help squealing with excitement and once I regained my composure I gave Heiko my thoughts on how we should capture it. I later suggested to Svenja that ice skating would be a fun background for the holiday photos and she agreed, little did she know of the master plan! 🙂

We started on the grounds of the Mid Manhattan Library. I am absolutely smitten by this building everything about it makes my heart melt.  We chatted about the weather, upcoming holiday plans, and our love for Starbucks. We then walked around to the back where the Bryant Park Pond is located. I secretly was so nervous and anxious that “the moment” was so close. Once in the perfect position I gave Heiko the thumbs up and it HAPPENED! 😉

*Tear*

Congrats to the both of you!! I can’t wait till the wedding!!

Ohh and Svenja’s birthday was this week!!! Happy Birthday my darling!

[ Random Ramblings ] Grand Central Station

The Sirs and I went to the Grand Central Terminal 100 Year Exhibit. It is said to be “A dramatic, multi-media installation on Grand Central’s century long lifespan will be the centerpiece of the Centennial celebration revealing how the iconic building, on the verge of changing the way New Yorkers travel over the next decade, shaped modern New York and determines its future.”

Between you and I it was a quite bland and I was a little disappointed.  I expected it to be a more interactive but I was told if I wanted to see more I should head to the transit museum in Brooklyn. 🙁 Nonetheless, I enjoyed snapping some photos and hanging out at the coolest apple store I’ve ever been to.
