Mariann was a gorgeous bride with a beautiful spirit. She was so calm and incredibly polite. Thank you so much was all she kept saying. Fady could not stop looking at her and his smile said “I’m the luckiest guy in the world”. I had a wonderful time documenting a few moments of the rest of their lives together.

From the moment I met DeMarco I knew we had a connection. We simply just “got” each other. I treated him to Starbucks one afternoon and he explained his vision to me and what his expectations were for his upcoming session. I quietly listened and told him ” I got you”. DeMarco gave me free reign in choosing the location that would fit his style. We spent over 2 hours shooting downtown and there was never a dull moment. DeMarco has such an incredible spirit and is filled with a tremendous amount of knowledge and insight. I was so inspired by him that I just wanted to keep shooting and he kindly had to tell me.. “We can get more shots next time”..he.he

I was recently invited by photographer Konrad Kolen to shoot the portrait session of a wedding with him. I had told myself that I wanted to second shoot a bit with other photographers to get a different and fresh approach to photographing. I am a big believer that there is always MORE to learn and techniques to fine tune so second shooting is the perfect opportunity to do so.
It was a sunny Sunday and we met in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Polina, Oleg, and the entire wedding party were such a delight. I love with photographing in this area because there are so many nooks and hidden crannies that lead to amazing backgrounds. Not to mention the Brooklyn Bridge and NYC skyline.
I had a great experience with Konrad and appreciate the opportunity to work with him.
