Little Annabella is getting so big! I photographed her when she was only a few months old.(Click here to view) She was a basket of smile and happy to see me, which is always a plus! We started off with some casual shots in the courtyard of Miami City Hall. The weather couldn’t have been more fantastic. I chatted with Fil + Daniela and promised to be done before Sunday football officially started. 😉

A Special Happy 1st Birthday to my fave lil man Matthew!!

We had to shoot quickly because Joey had to go to work, but it is amazing the great shots you can get when everyone puts there mind to it!

We shot at the cutest little park in Coral Gables. It was so perfect and tucked away. Well not really since it’s right in-front of City Hall, but if you don’t frequent this area you would never know it was there.

Matthew had the greatest time playing in all the houses… He’s such a big boy! 🙂

The lovely couples happens to be my good friend and Publicist Christopher Slydell brother and sister-in-law Robert + Wayedene. Robert is almost a spitting image of Chris but is a little more reserved. I couldn’t have photographed a more perfect couple. Robert + Wayedene were total naturals and needed minimal direction. They were completely anything goes kinda people. I loved it!! I can’t wait to meet their bundle of joy and do a full family session in the future. 🙂 This was truly one of my favorite shoots to date!

We shot this session at the Gallery ONE – A Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Such a gorgeous venue!! This also happens to be the same hotel Robert and Wayedene got married a few years ago. The staff could not have been more helpful! I also bumped into a college buddy Greta Torrez who happened to work there as well. — Small world.

On a side note: It was great having Chris there as well to help me. — I miss you Chris move back to New York!!!

I had been wanting to shoot at Grapeland for months and when Cariny took up my suggestions we were both stoked! You see Miami isn’t known for waterparks and I guess that was a great first start for the city especially since it is geared towards children. Its a great place for families with little ones to come and just relax. Plus all the artwork was commissioned by one of my favorite artists Romero Britto.

So let the fun begin!!

Meet the Idrovo Family! It was a fun filled Sunday Morning with this happy bunch. Before we entered the Grapeland Waterpark we got some great shots of Julio, Cariny and Jeana just hanging out. The weather was just as perfect as this family. Jeana “Nana” was a little shy at first but quickly warmed up and was a basket of smiles.

**Before I being on the post please forgive my absence.. I’ve been really busy with my “day job”, traveling, shooting, mini-vacay, and of course editing.. But don’t fret! I have a bunch of posts to share.. So stay tuned..**

On one of my many trips to Miami, Florida I was scheduled to shoot lil Jordan bright and early on Saturday. Unfortunately the little black rain clouds of course showed up and we had to reschedule hoping that the next morning would be better… Luckily it was! I met Tenji + Jordan at Coral Reef Park where I had also shot the Pacetti family almost a year earlier..

Jordan as most little ones started off a bit shy in-front of my big lens hence the puzzled look below that I LOVE!!!

We were surrounded by a flock of birds and Jordan wasted no time getting acquainted…

Momma Tenji was sweet and brought a loaf of bread for the birdies.. but let me tell you those birds wasted no time!! As soon as a the “tweet” got out that there was food the WHOLE park posse surrounded us! I love the look on Tenji’s face! CLASSIC! 🙂

So we out smarted the birds and went into a caged area of the park… — The irony! LOL

…and Jordan hoped on his bike and took it for a spin 😉

Though the focus of this picture is obviously Jordan’s friend in the red.. I thought it was hilarious because it embodied Jordan’s love for “Mr. Turtle”.. When I tell you he totally love him! He didn’t want to leave his side.!! So cute!!
