Felix contacted me a few weeks before and was so excited to get a session done of beautiful mommy to be Melissa. Its not usual that the “dad” takes control of the logistics of a session so I totally think Felix rocks for putting it all together. We started out at their home (which was huge for NYC) and had GREAT light in the bedroom. Melissa was as cute as can be and was open to all my suggestions.. There is something so beautiful about a woman’s body when she has “life” growing inside of her… Incredible sesssion!!

Since this session Felix and Melissa welcomed their bundle of joy “Chloe Violet Leclerc” on 8.24.09 weighing 7lbs and 6oz. Many congrats to the both of you!!! Can’t wait to meet Miss Chloe on our follow up session..  🙂

I must give a HUGE shout out to Amoya and Jayden for being troopers and EXTREMELY well behaved during Cheri and Larry’s E-session. I rewarded them with a little session of their own.

My friend Cheri contacted me and let me know a group of her co-workers wanted to surprise their fellow co-worker Cae’sare with a maternity session. After a few months of strategically planning the day finally arrived. I was worried that Cae’sare would wonder who the random girl was at her shower but she was so consumed by the “surprise” of the baby shower that I blended in as one of the guest.

A little about Cae’sare + Eric

Cae’sare and Eric, met in Tallahassee while attending Florida State University in 2001.  They became fast friends and this friendship bloomed into a loving relationship.  Now living in Atlanta, Georgia and pursuing successful careers the two are in love with each other and life!  Cae’sare and Eric share laughter, quiet times, and most importantly a deep love and commitment. Now the couple share something more, a blessing from God, they are expecting a daughter. Olivia is on the way and awaiting her are two sets of grandparents , along with her aunts, uncles, and a host of people ready to spoil her rotten (despite mom fighting it)!

I asked Monica (Miles mom) to describe Miles in 1 word and she told me “explorative” and she couldn’t have nailed his personality more on the head!! I met Monica and Miles in a small park next to the Orlando Public Library and I had no idea the afternoon that Miles had in store for me. 🙂

I have to say that Miles gave me the funnest workout! It was a thrill running all around the park behind him trying to capture the innocence of his “exploring”…

The BEST part was the review I got from Miles after the shoot.. Monica wrote to me and told me “Your sooo cool in Mile’s book!! He kept telling me ‘Mommy I like Amy’.”— AHHH it totally made my day!!! <3 You Miles!

The first thing Miles ran to was this alligator..He sat there for a while and let me get some great portraits then ran straight to the man on the gator behind him to say “Hello“…–SO CUTE!!

My favorite part of the shoot was when Miles played fetch with this little blind (YES BLIND) dog! It was amazing how she actually fetched the ball!!

Miles got “mad” at us.. or at least he wanted us to believe he was mad.. Too funny!!

One thing I do know is that this little one is going to be a heart breaker!!! 😉
