[ ::Things I love Friday:: Pre E-Shopping @ Forever 21 ]

Yes, I do most of my shopping at Forever 21 (don’t judge!)

I’m a frugal girl and I don’t like spending tons of $$ on trendy clothes that I can only wear once due to facebook, twitter, ect.. And honestly Forever 21 has the trendiest clothes at rock bottom prices. Don’t get me wrong I know everyone and their momma shops there and you can count on seeing your outfit on someone else, LOL, but I simply don’t care.

I love the fact that their sizes are pretty consistent and most of the time I don’t need to try things on. Makes my shopping experience soooo much better. The key to shopping at F21 is PIECES!! My biggest gripe is that they have sooo many options that shopping in the store can be impossible sometimes. Luckily, my BFF Mrs.Boots put me on to pre e-shopping at Forever21.com. Here’s the trick!! Pick out the pieces you like online then go to the store and look those specific pieces. I promise you it will make your trip to the store happier!

Also, I think that F21 is so clever. They are creating lines for different kind of women, and men! Its a one stop shop.

I love thee!

Below are some of my F21 looks, do you own any of these as well? .hehe. 😉

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

[ I have been bitten… ]

By the TWILIGHT venom…

I waited for it patiently to arrive from Amazon.com.

Mrs. Boots + Toya are probablly so proud right now as they are the ones who bit me. By no means am I a fanatic, or have I chosen if I am TEAM EDWARD or TEAM JACOB, or have I watch New Moon. But, I can honestly say that reading the 1st book of the series did make my train rides a little nicer. Hopefully I will read them all, as I really don’t like to read.hehe.

Wish me luck! 🙂

[ FELA!..No Pants..Noodles..and Birthdays. ]

*Disclaimer* I didn’t have my camera today, so my blackberry was my substitute 😉

The day began with standing in 20* weather for an hour to get rush tickets for FELA! on Broadway. From the second you walk in all you want to do is get up and dance. It was extremely entertaining, funny, interactive, and just overall AHHMAAZZING!

After the show we decided to go to Union Square for some retail therapy and were encountered by 100’s of people in their underwear! Yes, you heard me right!! Boys and girls just frolicking in their knickers. Apparently it was “No pants on the subway” day. Craziness, But hey that’s why I *heart* NY!

Of course we got the nibbles so we headed to Republic. You would never guess the size of the place by looking through the storefront, its quite huge.. The tables were family style and the walls were covered with pictures of models with noodles. Quite a nifty idea since their slogan is “Think Noodles”. The atmosphere was modern, *toasty* and a perfect NYC take of Thai.

We finished the evening with some dessert from Cafeteria to commemorate Bola’s 23rd birthday on Tuesday..Happy Birthday Homie!!

Another perfect Sunday in the city..

THE END!

[ Girls Night…. ]

So I decided to host a girls night in lieu of two of my greatest friends coming into town. And here they are..Mackenzie on the left with her usual face and Bola sooo excited for some home cooking..

Because she loves me so… Mackenzie found my FAVORITE!! I tried it for the first time when I went to Puerto Rico over Labor day and been searching for it since with no luck. I promise its the best, mix it with cranberry juice and lemonade.. — DELISH!!

We chitchatted over home made “Rosa Mexicano” guacamole.

and of course some Tollhouse cookies!

Olinka, of my fave story tellers of all times…kept quite entertained!!And of course my P.I.C of NYC Drenita was there… Good times, as always!!
