[ I really need good natural Vitamin D ]

It’s another Florida weekend. You may think to yourself “she’s in Florida every other weekend.” LoL. Not exactly, but I am there quite often. And you would also think I bask in the sunshine better known as the beach… But sadly I don’t… I never have time too since I work the whole time I am there….

This weekend I will be working as well.. I will be photographing Cheri and Larry’s Wedding at the Eden Roc Hotel on Collin’s Ave as well as another family session.. I desperately need some good ol’ Vitamin D. I am starting to look like as pale as a Cullen (Ha Ha to all my Twilighters)

So I have promised myself even  if its only an hour to sink my feet in the sand and soak up the sun. I hoping all goes as planned!! ::fingers crossed::

[ A West Side Sunday]

This past Sunday I was itching to go out and really enjoy the city. If you didn’t know I’m a little “needy” sometimes though it may be hard to believe. 😉 I really wish I was one of those people who could just walk around the city and enjoy it alone.. but i’m not.

So on this fine Sunday I invited my friend and fellow photographer Lemu to come explore the city with me. I made a quick trip to B&H then met him on 14th st & 8th ave. We were determined to just explore so we pointed in a direction and just walked. The weird thing about the city is that everything feels and looks the same but different.. if that makes sense. We walked most of the West Village… along the Hudson…glided through Greenwich Village..and ended up in Washington Square.

Meet Lemu…He works in digital business development for MTV Networks and is a partner of Gakcity.com Over all a pretty cool dude 😉

Spring is my 2nd favorite season so I had to capture the flowers making their comeback.And people who enjoy bike riding for peace…And grandpa enjoying the breeze…When I grow up I want to live here.. LOL…but seriously I do!We even had a Miley sighting. HA!Now the day isn’t complete unless I have a little photo-shoot.. Lemu gladly participated 🙂I totally love this one. This is so “Lemu”Love this one too.. The light in this alley was magical!We ended our adventure with Margarita’s at Caliente Cab Co. and they had Passion Fruit — my favorite!! 🙂Lemu caught me being a photo nerd as he called it.. 😀and he captured me ohh so happy on this perfect Sunday..

[A weekend with my Family]

This past weekend I was able to go home and enjoy some time with my family. Though I fly down to Miami every 6-8 weeks, I am constantly working so I really don’t get to spend quality with them. This weekend was extra special as the 5 of us were all together. 🙂

We took advantage of this and celebrated at Texas De Brazil a Brazilian style steakhouse.

I don’t frequent steakhouses so this was whole new experience for lil ol’ me.

Photo below courtesy of http://www.texasdebrazil.com/The restaurant its self was beautifully decorated in a rustic ranchero theme.  The buffet salad/starch bar was located in the center of the room where we could serve ourselves all the veggies and starches our hearts desired. We were all given a medallion that would set the pace of our meal. If we were ready to have steak, chicken, or lamb we placed our medallion on the green side and a lovely waiter would come around with skewers filled with deliciousness. Once we stuffed our faces and wanted no more we turned the medallion the the red side.. 🙂 My dad was a thug and cleansed his pallet with good ol’ Jose Cuervo… and of course I had to catch my brother in action being grubby 🙂Momma and I had a little photoshoot…. See where I get my gap from.. Ha! 😀So the other siblings wanted a shot with mom too.. And Dad with his kids.. -1 (Tonny who lives in Cali) This picture makes me smile!!Love you family!! You guys are my world! <3

[ An Ode to Muñi ]

We were having a discussion in the office and it turned to childhood bears.
I gushed about my childhood bear “Muñi” that I was utterly attached to the hip to.. until I was like 15! Yes I know… Don’t judge me! Ha!
Muñi is in the closet now, but I still smile when I think about him. He was my best friend in the world, until Mrs. Boots took over 😉

When I can’t sleep…LOL

I am sitting in my parent’s living room watching Catch Me If You Can while iming with Mrs. Boots and Treas. Mind you I am soooo sleepy but can’t seem to make my way to my bed. lol. Don’t you hate when that happens? Pearls is curled up at my feet and keeps looking at me like “Mom, i’m sleepy lets go to bed.” You would think I would be in a deep somber since I have to by up @ 7am to drive to Orlando… but no, my silly self is still up… So I took some pictures to entertain myself and also cheer up Treas who is having home “home” issues…
